MP3 Splitter Online: Split MP3 by Time Without Re-encoding
Divide one MP3 into several files without uploading or re-encoding it. Choose a fixed duration, or enter your own cut points. For one excerpt instead of several parts, use the audio cutter.
Choose an MP3 to begin.
Parts
Up to 256 MB and 500 parts. ZIP creation needs additional device memory.
MP3 cuts align to frames, not exact samples. Some files use a bit reservoir: a part's opening may be shortened or affected while the decoder initializes. Preview the exported parts. Original Xing/seek metadata is omitted to avoid stale whole-file durations.
Split by duration or by timestamps
For a long recording, enter 300 seconds to create roughly five-minute parts; the final part may be shorter. For chapter boundaries, switch to timestamps and enter 0:30, 1:00. Cut points are sorted and aligned to nearby MP3 frames. The result list shows the actual boundaries before downloading.
What does no re-encoding mean?
The splitter copies existing audio frames; it does not change bitrate, sample rate or channels, and it cannot restore detail already lost in the MP3. Frame boundaries and decoder dependencies mean this is not sample-accurate or guaranteed gapless editing. Listen to the beginning and end of each exported part.
Download on a phone or computer
Preview any exported part, then download it individually or choose one ZIP containing all parts. A browser may save directly to Downloads instead of opening a dialog. Files remain on your device; memory, supported playback and ZIP size depend on your browser. Conversion, merging and fades are not included.
